China is hot and sticky. It's hard to find internet access, and you run into random deposits of stinky air. But over all, it's a good experience. I'm currently in shang-hai and just enjoyed a shao loong bao meal--sorry, nick i don't think it would be wise to bring some back for you...it would probably rot and create a crazy new disease worse than sars...but try din tai fung in arcadia...the delicious little morsels are equally as good but less homestyled...which translates to clean comfort.
I'm missing home a whole lot right now...and LA air. Yes, Los Angeles air quality surpasses China's by far. It feels like you're being suffocated once you leave any building. Gotta get out of this ghetto internet cafe and head back to the hotel before it gets too late. jai jean
