Char: Dude, we’re soooo lame. We have finals next week and look what we’re doing!!!!!! But anyways, so quick question: What are UCLA’s colors? Blue and YELLOW, right? Here’s my random issue for the week.

Here is an ORANGE! Another random question… Is an orange called an orange because it’s the color orange? Or is the color orange called orange because it’s the same color as an orange? (Diana and I have just agreed that “orange” is a really weird word now… oh yeah… by the way… I got a point playing a rhyme game with Harris because I said “orange” rhymes with “syringe.” Diana said it doesn’t, but check out Em’s song Business, “oranges, peach, pears, plums, SYRINGES!” Hahaha. I win! Diana said I have to move on….)
NOW… What color is the sweatshirt?????? Is it yellow??? I don’t think so! Unless the orange is YELLOW!!!! But it’s not the same color as the skittles…. I know there are different hues of orange, but dang… that one’s drastic! So now I have to say that my sweatshirt is orange and UCLA’s colors are blue and orange… or I can say, “Please pass the yellow orange” (Diana)… or whoever designed this sweater is colorblind like Louis. I’ll write about the Louis story another day… MAYBE! Hah!

12:0something AM: A huge conglomerate of hall mates came into my room while I was sound asleep. Screamed birthday wishes to startle/surprise me. Thanks guys! (luckily I wasn’t drooling)
8:30-5:30 PM: Work work work. Received flowers via delivery guy at office from Matt. They’re beautiful roses. Co-workers also surprised me by sneaking a cake into the office and calling me over for a “mini-meeting” and sung the classic. Sorry that you burned your fingers lighting my candles, Kristine!
6:00-9:00PM: AIC Bible Study. Praise the Lord, for He is Good.
9:30PM: Matt came and gave me prezzies
A MAC gift card and a cute outfit from AE. Thanks you ! Opened other prezzies: scored a koosh body pillow and pickle card from Char, A Kishore Mahbubani book from Prof, Giftcards from Mr&Mrs Tsushima

St. Patty’s Day Extended Birthday Bash

I feel bad that I had to scurry off to study and cut everything short. But thank you so much for taking the time to come and grace me with your presence.
My sister finally came to visit me! That made my day.
What a beautiful concoction. Thanks for the cake Janice! It was BEAUTIFUL.
Do you see the orangey ball at the bottom of the cake? That’s a tomato…I know…but hey! better than cantaloupe!
Janice also made a tiara out of GARLIC for me! Delicious.

Yay! Now I have good reason to travel down to UCSD and kidnap my sister to go to Mexico with me to eat tacos… 3 for $1 !!!

I meant purple FLAVOR, not just purple. Purple isn’t cool like orange…….
i think the naming of the color orange came before the naming of the fruit orange. There’s no way some one discovered the fruit Orange, and then saw something else that had the same color, and decided to call that color orange. that wouldn’t make sense. Well, it doesn’t make sense to me anyway. And syringe does not rhyme with orange…orange is more pronounced like oh-REN-je and syringe is like sir-RIN-je. right? hahaha, i dunno. nice post anyway, 2 eprops for you Charlyne. Diana, you can learn a lot from Charlyne’s posts. see ya.
