• Thanksgiving started out fine. The usual annual routine of cooking and bustling about the kitchen, trying to feed our family plus friends of 20. So far everyone is still alive, so that's another successful meal.  This year is probably my last year of winning Turkey-Leg Championship with my cousin Andrew. He's getting tall and manly, so I don't think I can defeat him in the race next year. I got to see Pam, which is always a treat...and instead of going with mainstream pumpkin pie like everyone else in the familia, I dug into sweet tofu that auntie elaine brought over.  Maddie and I decided to attack Cecilia, (my sister) while she was sleeping....and I'm paying the price now! With a fever of 103 I definately think I'm dying.... Now I'm finally back at riverside...after 3 days of being practically bed ridden....with a 4 page paper due in 2 hours.
